2016/01 Apologies for Absence
The Secretary reported that apologies for absence had been received from:

2016/02 2015 Report
The Secretary confirmed that all Members of the Association had been sent a copy of the 2015 Report on the Association, which gave details of the membership, events, etc. A copy of the Report is appended to these Minutes. 2015 VMMA Committee Report The Chairman gave a brief resume of the Association’s activities during the year.
2016/03 2015 Accounts
The Treasurer went through the figures in the Accounts – a copy of which had been sent to all Members of the Association. The Accounts were unanimously accepted by the meeting. A copy of the Accounts is appended to these Minutes. 2015 VMMA Accounts
2016/04 Election of Chairman
Ken Barnes indicated that he was prepared to stand as Chairman for the next year. He was nominated by Peter Barnes and seconded by Phil Boswell. There were no other nominations and Ken Barnes was elected Chairman.
2016/05 Election of Secretary
Gillian Chapple indicated that she was prepared to stand as Secretary for the next year. She was nominated by Ken Barnes and seconded by Mo Kennedy. There were no other nominations and Mrs Chapple was elected Secretary.
2016/06 Election of Treasurer
Mo Kennedy indicated that she was prepared to stand as Treasurer for the next year. She was nominated by Gillian Chapple and seconded by Jean Seager. There were no other nominations and Mrs Kennedy was elected Treasurer.
2016/07 Election of Committee Members
Michelle Barnes, Peter Barnes, Phil Boswell, Sue Boswell, Chris Brown, Roger Kennedy, Sylvia Jimminson and Jean Seager all volunteered to serve as Committee Members. As there were no other volunteers and the number of volunteers did not exceed the maximum number of Committee Members, all 8 people were nominated by Sheila Bell, seconded by Tony Fry and elected as Committee Members.
There being no further business, the Chairman closed the meeting. He invited all present to remain for an open Committee Meeting.
