Window decals with the VMMA logo are now available for all Members – 2 decals per boat. The decals are attached to the inside of a window using static cling so are easily repositioned or removed.

The rain finally stopped for a few hours for the first VMMA Breakfast of the year! Despite the cloudy skies and cold weather, it was a great turnout and it was lovely to see so many moorers and their dogs.

The third AGM of VMMA was held at the Marina on Saturday, 17 March 2018. Our end of year event in November welcomed over 35 people, who enjoyed two delicious soups prepared by Gillian C, along with some warming mulled wine and hot chocolate. As always, it was lovely to see a large number of moorers for the second Moorers’ Breakfast of the year on 17 September 2017. Those attending enjoyed bacon rolls with a drink and chatted about their travels and canal experiences over the sunny summer season. It was also great to welcome several new moorers.

On 10th June, 8 moorers and two dogs enjoyed a morning ramble to Napton and back.  Starting at Ventnor Marina, we set off along the towpath to Wigrams Turn and then along the Oxford Canal before cutting across fields to tackle the first hill – although the panoramic view at the top was well worth the climb! … Read more
