In response to a question regarding why dog poo and ashes were collected in the same bins and why there were no dedicated poo bins around the Marina, we have been told that dedicated dog poo bins need to be emptied by specialist contractors (either from the Council or private contractors) and that the additional costs were not felt to be justified.
The existing arrangements were working satisfactorily as far as the Marina is concerned and there are no plans to change.
