The Association was formed to:
- promote recreational boating;
- represent the interests of members jointly or individually as berth holders at Ventnor Marina;
- keep berth holders informed on any matters relating to their interests within Ventnor Marina;
- promote such services, facilities and social events for members as may be determined.
Everyone who moors at Ventnor Marina is entitled to join the Ventnor Marina Moorers Association either as a FULL member or a SOCIAL member:
Full Members are entitled to vote on all matters relating to the Association. To be eligible for Full Membership you must have a mooring at Ventnor Marina. There is a maximum of 2 Full Members per mooring.
Social Members are not entitled to vote on any matters relating to the Association. Anyone applying for Social Membership must demonstrate some link with Ventnor Marina which would make it appropriate for them to join the Association. A person appplying for Social Membership does not have to moor at Ventnor Marina. The VMMA Committee has the right to reject applications for Social Membership from individuals who have no obvious link to the Marina.

Membership of VMMA costs £5 per person per membership year (or part thereof). The membership year runs from 1 January to 31 December. Please note each person must submit an individual application – no joint applications.
You can either download a Membership Application or complete an Online Application by clicking on the appropriate button below. The quickest way to get your application processed is to use the Online Application Form AND pay the Membership Subscription via online banking. Any applications and/or cheques left in the VMMA postbox at the Marina will only be processed once they have been collected from the box by a Committee Member.
