It was great to welcome existing and new members to the first VMMA Moorers’ Breakfast of the year on Sunday 28 April. It was a cold and windy morning, but those attending enjoyed freshly-cooked bacon butties and hot drinks as they chatted to fellow moorers, sharing their boating experiences and cruising plans for this year. Don’t forget that VMMA members can also use our Facebook group to share any advice as you are out and about on the canals. Thanks to Steve Chapman, who was official photographer for the morning!
We look forward to seeing everyone at the second breakfast of the year on Sunday 15 September at 10.00am. In the meantime, there is the Summer Hog Roast with live music organised by the marina, which is on Saturday 8 June from 2.00pm to 6.00pm. Tickets are available from the marina office.
