It was great to welcome so many people to the Soup and Sparklers event on Saturday 2 November.
44 people braved the atrocious weather to join us in the Woodland Lounge where they enjoyed two delicious soups (spicy butternut squash and pea and mint) made by Gillian Chapple, along with some warming mulled wine.
Moorers had the chance to share their canal boating experiences over the last year and some people even braved the weather to go back outside and light their sparklers!
There was also a final chance to vote on the entries in this year’s Photo Competition before the winner was announced at 8:30pm.
