We are planning a special event on 25th April. One of the VMMA members Dave Jesse will be giving a talk entitled “Electric Narrow boating – Why? How?”.
Dave Jesse will explain why he chose electric propulsion, and how it was installed in his narrowboat, Perseverance. Topics will include electricity generation, propeller selection and, of course, toilets.
After the Moorer’s Breakfast on April 26th, anyone who would like to try silent electric cruising is invited to come aboard Perseverance for a short trip to Calcutt Bottom Lock and back.
Attendance numbers are limited please email secretary@vmma.org.uk to secure your place with the names of the people who are attending / your boat name. This will be on a first come first served basis.
The Talk is FREE for VMMA Members & £3 for non-Members (payable on the night).
Why not bring along a drink or two and chat to other moorers after the event.
